Marilyn Krieger In the name of humanity I ask that you free Tibet and allow native Tibetans to live their lives as they have done for centuries. China - get out of Tibet and let the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama (if he is still alive in your custody!) go home and live amongst their people in peace. If you wnat the respect fo the world then FREE TIBET.

Gloria Dawn Royall I proudly added the badge to my Care2 page under Gloria Dawn R.. I also add my voice to the world's outraged cry against the abuse of power displayed by the Chinese government to suppress the protests in Tibet !! For decades, through imprisonment, torture and draconinan restrictions on activites and thought, the Chinese government has repeatedly violated Tibetan's basic human rights and denied Tibetan's religious freedom. Over the past few years, the Chinese have taken sledgehammers to large areas of historic Lhasa to erect a $10 million 5-story shopping complex where the erosion of Tibetan culture and economic exploitation by the Chinese continues in Tibet. The construction and recent opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway has benefited ONLY the Han Chinese immigrants and left educated Tibetans jobless despite the apparent economic growth that the Chinese Government boasts of in Tibet. NELLY FOSU-MENSAH I must say i'm guilty of ignorance but i watch the documenty on channel 4 about Tibet which made me cry. i mean how can people be so creul. you'd think in this day and age things like oppression and slavery would have been eradicated but they still exist. I cannot image a world were people have no right to freedom of speech and practices. i find this inconceivable. And i'm not very political but after seeing the news for the past weeks i think something has to be done. I propose the olympics should be cancelled all together. I know this is controversial but i feel something drastic is needed and i apologise to all the people who have worked hard for the olymics but i think it's time the world unite and take action.
Jendy Bullman Please allow monks and people to practice their religion freely. People in England see what is happening in Tibet and do not feel happy with the Chinese government. I am unhappy with the treatment received by Tibetans in their land of origin and I ask the Chinese Government to grant autonomy to the region.
Sharon Ross Free Tibet! China is breaking every possible rule going towards Human Rights, they have & still are violating Human Rights which is wrong and should never happen in this world of ours. The time is now to make this world a better place, stop all of this abuse to your people, free Tibet and let peace take it's toll.
