Julia Tawyea | This man should never have been allowed to go back to playing professional football and making millions of dollars after the harm and murdering of the dogs.. not only are these dogs essentially murdered either by another dog in fighting, but when they are "done" they are thrown out and killed.. Other smaller dogs and puppys, not to mention cats and kittens are also thrown into the area of the dogs who are in training, to tear apart so that these dogs will taste blood and learn how to fight.. I cry all the time over this and it should be illegal!! |

Keisha Pottinger | I am a woman of color age 31. I am disgusted that Michael Vick was 1. able to go back to the NFL (I was a Philly fan before they signed him) and 2. he has his own show on BET. I have blocked BET from my house and it is unfortunate because for the most part i tried to support anything black. But a line has got to be draw when they have a killer on. I equate it to giving OJ Simpson his own show. I am disgusted. Somewhere along the line, i think we as American- humans have lost our morals and value and we let things go after a week or so. We have to take a stand for injustice and cruelity. The 70 or so dogs that we taken from his house were the ones that lived, what about the ones he killed. |

Linda Szymoniak | I recently joined a group on Facebook that is trying to get BET to take off the Michael Vick Project from their network. We've managed to get many of the companies who's ads have appeared during the show to contact BET and request that their ads don't air during this show. There is no erasing what Michael Vick did - he whines and complains that his life isn't good and that he had to spend that little time in jail. He doesn't deserve the "courage" award, either - the only ones deserving that award are the dogs that survived Vick's atrocities! |
